Hello,
Whilst Australia is a fabulous place to call "home", it is a real problem when
you love to travel. I've worked overeas for a big part of my life, but never
made it to your part of the world. I have always been fascinated by the Faroes,
and would love to correspond with someone if anyone is interested. I've been
collecting for years the David & Charles "Island" series books - am sure I was
an island dweller in a past life! I am a bookseller/ booksearcher/ collector. I

I am going over to the Faroes in June.My mother was from Klakksvik
and met and married my father in 1942. He was in the Lovat Scouts. After the war
they settled in Scotland. He died in 1983 and mother died in 1999. I have not
been there since 50 years ago. looking forward to meeting all my relations.
Would love to hear from anyone whose mother married anyone in the British
Services.
